Darren Lapsley - Founder
Some leaders are born, others are cultivated. For as long as Darren Lapsley can remember, he has embodied leadership. Whether it was becoming the captain of his basketball team growing up, the 20 years of leadership roles he held in the military, or being a sales leader on the civilian side, Darren gets it.
After Darren identified a lack of support for new people in sales, he started using his proven methods derived from Marine Corps leadership traits and principles. After his time on active duty, he was mentored by a Vietnam era combat veteran which led to Darren finding his true calling in a sales leadership role. In his new civilian life, he rose through the rankings, earning promotions in his corporate jobs and surpassing KPIs. After feeling unfulfilled in his positions and receiving pushback on innovating old methods, Mameluke Sales Leadership was born.
Lucy Somers - Executive Assistant
Lucy is a student at Indiana University, Bloomington, studying English and Environmental Sustainability.
She is a Fort Wayne native and in her free time she enjoys writing poetry, reading, and playing music .
Lucy is a DJ on the student run radio station WIUX 99.1 FM that is broadcast within the cit of Bloomington and streamed worldwide.

Ava - Battle Buddy
Ava is an English Labrador Retriever with a heart of service and lots of love to give. She was professionally trained as a service dog and gifted to Darren as a part of the Northwest Battle Buddies (NWBB) program in Washington State.
